Abstract
In this work we dealt with matrix completion problem. This problem arises in different fields, for example, systems and control theory, image processing and collaborative filtering. Given a probabilistic matrix factorization model, we present an approach based on Bayesian statistics and a stochastic expectation maximization algorithm to retrieve an array of data from a sample of its inputs. The proposed method does not require regularization parameters and estimates the rank of the matrix, in contrast to the BPMF method. Our results show that the proposed method outperforms to an augmented lagrangian algorithm and the BPMF method in its ability to find the rank of the matrix and in efficiency respectively.

It
is important to know the thermal barrier deposition techniques since
materials with low thermal conductivity in the barrier can be obtained
from them. The dependence of the thermal conductivity with the
temperature can be divided into four regions. In this work, we were
interested in the study of used techniques for the manufacture of
materials with a desirable low thermal conductivity that will be exposed
to high temperatures that is to say, materials found in the III and IV
region. In these regions the thermal conductivity can be reduced
increasing the porosity of the material. Through the study of the
thermal barrier deposition techniques we found that the thermal spray
produces a coat with high porosity, being the low velocity flame spray
technique the best to produce coat of La2Zr2O7 with a minimal thermal
conductivity. The thermal spray technique is low cost and almost any
material can be thermally sprayed, so this can be considered a very
attractive technique for industrial applications.

Abstract
Lignin is an industrial waste being worthless in papermaking byproduct of black liquor obtained from the pulping process in some Venezuelan plants. The black liquor is obtained from the Kraft pulping process to extract lignin sulphite by acid precipitation and quantify the amount of total phenols in such lignin products used in this study. Spectrophotometry Molecular absorption in the UV-Visible and Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) region were used to carry out these study techniques. The products obtained in the study had the same signs than commercial lignin (LA), along with the extracted lignin present little degradation HCl, confirmed by infrared spectra. Also, the amount of total phenols was quantified in derivative lignin obtained using the Folin-Ciocalteu. In the sulphite process extracted lignin with acetic acid derivative contains more phenols, and in the Kraft process, the derivative lignin extracted with fewer nitric acid present. The amount of total phenolics present in these derivatives are good for making antiseptics, detergents, nylon, resin and many industrial products.

Abstract
This work is a study of magnetization evolution in
magnetic media along the time. The magnetic media is a flat tape, like a tape use
for recording and taping information, with effective field including first order
term from cubic net, uniaxial anisotropic fields, demagnetized field and
interchange term between the net elements. The magnetization is driven from the
demagnetized to the magnetized state by a dc applied magnetic field. The
theoretical model shows a solution of a Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert equation,
taking into account the speed of the tape. Four physically admissible solutions
are obtained: harmonic oscillations, damped oscillation, exponential fronts and
double exponential fronts, for a different parameter values. We show an
approximation to the problem from the dynamical system theory, when the
equation is converted into a non-time depending autonomous system, to study the
existence of fix points, the transition between solutions and the phase map of
the solutions and his physical interpretation. The different phase maps are
presented for representative sets of values. This approximation to the problem
complements and enriches the previous works.
